1st Tuesday of each month · 7:00 PM · Council Chambers. Reviews development applications, variance requests, zoning amendments, and comprehensive plan updates. Public hearings are held for major land use changes.
3rd Thursday · 6:00 PM · City Hall Conference Room A. Reviews applications for Certificates of Appropriateness for properties in the Historic District. Covington is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
2nd Wednesday · 8:30 AM · DDA Office, Newton County Chamber. Oversees downtown revitalization, business recruitment, parking, and streetscape investments in the downtown commercial district.
